White KÖMACEL and KÖMATEX sheets are color-fast. Colored sheets might fade because of their higher absorption of solar radiation.


The application limits of these sheets are determined by exposure to natural UV radiation. Both KÖMACEL and KÖMATEX are able to withstand up to 140 kly/cem2/year, or about the same UV radiation experienced in Madrid, Spain, or Athens, Greece.


Sheets used outdoors should have a light-colored surface. Dark-colored signs with a large surface will absorb a considerable amount of solar radiation and might be damaged.
